START Accelerator Details

 A two-year process, the START Accelerator takes organizations every step of the way to a thriving After School program.

Year one of the START Accelerator focuses on building your program, training faculty and staff, and ensuring the program’s smooth integration with the organization as a whole.

We will provide…

• Adaptive leadership and change management training

• Budget and financial planning for your program and its integration with the larger organizational budget

• Transportation and logistics planning and training

• Curriculum training, adaptation, and implementation assistance

• Professional development in the areas of experiential education, classroom management, inclusion, differentiated instruction, and child development

• Best practices, strategies and templates for recruitment and enrollment, marketing, communications, community relationship building, and. program integration.

Year two of the START Accelerator focuses on launching and refining your after school program throughout the first year of operation.

• Ongoing training on all of the topics from year 1

• Facilitated curricular adaptation for alignment with organization mission and goals

• Program observations and evaluation

• Feedback systems and templates

• Strategic planning for the future (3 year plan)
