The Jewish After School Network provides continuing education and professional development through curated and relevant online and in person workshops and working sessions throughout the school year Topics are always designed to be specific and relevant to Jewish After School professionals, and range from transportation, curriculum, behavior management, staffing, recruitment, culture, and everything in between.

Lori Daitch
Lori Daitch is a highly respected Jewish educator with over 30 years of experience shaping innovative, community-centered learning rooted in strong Jewish values and identity. Known for her creativity, collaboration, and deep relationships with students, families, and colleagues, Lori has led transformative programs locally and globally and was honored nationally as a Distinguished Educator by the Association of Reform Jewish Educators. Lori is the Director of Education at Beth Shir Shalom in Santa Monica, CA, and a member of Cohort III of the Jewish After School Accelerator.

Nomi Kornfeld
Nomi Kornfeld is a dynamic Jewish educator and program builder with over 15 years of experience, known for her expertise in inclusive, differentiated instruction and her commitment to supporting both learners and teachers. Through innovative, hands-on programming and leadership in initiatives like Club Shemesh and the JASA Afterschool Network, she creates engaging, accessible Jewish learning environments that foster creativity, connection, and community. Nomi Kornfeld is the Education Director at Congregation Beth El in South Orange, NJ and a member of Cohort III of the Jewish After School Accelerator.

Central Region LeaderSara Levitt
Sara Levitt is a dedicated Jewish educator and social worker whose career is rooted in building meaningful relationships and creating inclusive, welcoming environments for children and families. Drawing on her background in Jewish studies and social work, she is passionate about inspiring young people to connect deeply with Jewish life and ensuring every family at Congregation B’nai Emunah feels a strong sense of belonging and pride. Sara Levitt is the Director of Jewish Life and Learning at Congregation B’nai Emunah in Tulsa, Oklahoma and a member of Cohort III of the Jewish After School Accelerator.
Rabbi David Paskin
Rabbi David Paskin, known as the “Rock n’ Roll Rabbi,” is a dynamic spiritual leader, educator, and award-winning Jewish musician with over 30 years of experience, currently serving as Director of Youth Education at Temple Sinai of North Dade. Blending music, technology, and Torah, he inspires communities nationwide through his teaching, performances, and innovative work supporting educators and clergy. Rabbi David currently works as a clergy member at Temple Sinai of North Dade in Miami, FL and is a member of the inaugural cohort of the Jewish After School Accelerator.

Debbie Denenberg is the Director of Program Operations at Jewish Kids Groups, where she leads and manages program operations across Atlanta with a strong focus on team leadership and community building. With a diverse background spanning Jewish education, camps, youth programming, and corporate training, she brings a dynamic blend of educational expertise and operational leadership to her work. Debbie is the Director of Program Operations for Jewish Kids Groups.
